India having target of 9 billion USD opportunities by 2020 through adequate focus and effective execution by medical tourism segment.
Nepal needs to focus on quality of treatment, implement international accreditation for safety of patient, develop international protocols, approach to international insurance through TPA modality, develop network of healthcare facilitator, collaboration and partnership with international hospitals to develop the medical tourism destination.
